I am a regular attendee at Drighlington Digital on a Thursday weekly. The sessions are run by Steve and he is ably assisted by Andy.

 

We have a comprehensive syllabus and know well in advance what the topic for the week is. The subjects cover an exhaustive list of topics that have been tailor made to suit the requirements of the group.

 

Each week Steve leads the meetings and does a presentation on a subject. This includes a visual presentation. Steve throughout the presentation clarifies with the attendees that they haveunderstood what is being discussed and everyone has an opportunity to make a point or ask for clarification.

 

The presentation normally takes an hour at which time we have a coffee break. After the coffee break Steve and Andy then spend time with individuals helping them with any technical issues that may have.

 

On a personal note he assisted me today with accessing works email remotely to enable me to complete an on line course for my role as an Invigilator. His help saved me a couple of hours unnecessary travel. Both Steve and Andy are extremely helpful and knowledgeable, they share lots of advice and also recommend plenty of useful tools. Steve recently introduced me to 'Waze' which I find so much better than Google maps. Andy advised me about an App called CBP MPC which will help me at Customs and Immigration in the USA when I fly there shortly. I was also shown how to set up Google wallet. All of these Apps are very useful tools.

 

It is so reassuring to know that such help is at hand. Steve has also given all attendees his personal mobile number so that help is available 24/7.
